Mr. Simon Price has provided strategic planning, business development, M&A, market research and fundraising services to a number of leading companies over his 19-year career. 

Most recently Mr. Price has assisted a renewable energy company, Equity Solar, in identifying its market opportunity and securing key licensing, and has provided strategic planning and fundraising services to a start-up video game publisher whose founders created one of the industry's highest-grossing games of all time. 

As Interim President and CEO of a US publicly traded entertainment software publisher, Mr. Price oversaw the restructuring of the company amid the global credit crisis, during which time he secured high-value publishing deals for a key title, eliminated loss-making products, renegotiated the bulk of the company's debts and negotiated an agreement to sell the company. Prior to his appointment, as an advisor he was instrumental in helping the company secure funding and obtain trading status on the public markets. 

Mr. Price was formerly with International Development Group, a San Francisco-based consulting company, during which time he provided research and advisory services to a number of leading entertainment and media clients including Microsoft, Intel, Sony, Nokia and Electronic Arts. Additionally, Mr. Price was hired by several top investment banks to perform research and due diligence services for investment and M&A purposes. 

Mr. Price began his career as a business journalist, overseeing three of the interactive entertainment industry's leading publications. He also managed the US bureau of a leading German magazine publisher. He has been a public speaker at several entertainment industry events, including E3 (the Electronic Entertainment Expo), GDC (the Game Developers' Conference) and the International Recording Media Association's annual conference, and has been quoted in a number of leading publications, including the Los Angeles Times, USA Today and Wired. 

Mr. Price holds a Master's degree from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of London, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
